Artists Biography

Tyler Gray is a visual artist and candidate for a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. Growing up on a farm, she developed a deep appreciation for nature, which serves as the core inspiration for her work. She primarily works in watercolor and metal but enjoys exploring a variety of mediums, always seeking new ways to capture the details and purpose found in the natural world. 

In October 2024, Tyler participated in a relief sculpture workshop with renowned artist Eugene Daub at Brookgreen Gardens, where she also assisted in painting the Good of the Hive mural. Her dedication to her craft was recognized when she received the 2024 Next Generation Award at Brookgreen Gardens. She has exhibited her work in Coastal Carolina University’s student-juried exhibition and is preparing for her upcoming capstone exhibition. 

A Statement from Tyler

Im glad your interested! I am a young artists trying to learn and experience the most that I can. A majority of my inspiration comes from my own observations which have been formed by my upbringing on a farm and my faith.
